Story:

Review:
Tanvi Shukla (Raveena Tandon) is viewed as just another housewife with no genuine ability to fight issues as she sits outside the Patna civil court with a number of male attorneys. Among her coworkers and the acquaintances of her husband Siddharth Shukla (Manav Vij), her homemade laddoos and ghar ki rasoi are more well-known than her legal knowledge. Not even her own spouse offers much encouragement. But when Rinki Kumari, a 22-year-old student played by Anushka Kaushik, asks Tanvi to represent her in court, everything is put to the test. Rinki wants her papers to be reexamined since she believes the university has unfairly failed her. Tanvi quickly learns, however, that Rinki's case is not unique as she takes up the case. Additionally, that there is a considerably bigger con with numerous participants.
Undoubtedly, this movie's predictability isn't its best feature. However, it's impressive how writer-director Vivek Budakoti (together with co-writers Sammeer Arora and Farid Khan) handles a straightforward story without losing control of the narrative. Tanvi depicts the unremarkable backdrop of her modest middle-class Patna home and workplace with grace and simplicity. In fact, the screenplay is executed so flawlessly that it doesn't contain any abrupt parts that could detract from the main plot and its message, even if it is a courtroom drama. What makes it effective is the way it tells a straightforward yet significant story in an understated and nondramatic manner.
The picture mostly hinges on the skillful performance of Raveena Tandon, who gives a subdued performance free of overt drama. The actress portrays Tanvi's vulnerability and resoluteness without missing a beat. Even with a slow pacing, Raveena's faultless performance keeps the audience interested. Manav Vij is a perfect fit for the role of Siddharth, a man who must reconcile his wife's unshakeable moral convictions with what is realistically achievable in a tiny village. Once more, the late Satish Kaushik provides a remarkable performance as a laid-back but unforgiving lower court judge. Although the writing of some of the characters is fairly formulaic, thankfully the actors who play them are talented. As an example, Jatin Goswami
stands out as a cunning politician and stylish young icon, Raghubir Singh. Additionally, Chandan Roy Sanyal plays the conceited defense attorney Neelkanth with impressive effect. The other members of the cast do admirably. The background score and music throughout the movie are essentially unmemorable.
"Patna Shukla" is a socio-legal drama that focuses on a fairly local subject, hence its audience may not be very large. However, the consequences of a hoax like this one in education can be far more harmful than they first appear to be. The film doesn't delve further into the subtleties of the academic racket it discusses, instead concentrating on its protagonist and a few other people. However, despite its constrained scope, this courtroom drama tells a compelling tale of tenacity, willpower, and the right to an education.
